Thanks for the heads-up Neil. I did not know that about DatNewCudi.com although I only recently began to understand what the hell a hip-hop mixtape is so I am learning. It does give me a little more faith in Cudi to know that he wasn’t behind any “official” release of some of those bad live/freestyle tracks.

DatNewCudi.com is a fansite and their mixtapes are fan compilations not official releases. Of course, it’s still free—but not legal. I get the feeling they have a good relationship with GOOD Music though.

Great update though. I haven’t been keeping up with hip-hop lately so this is very helpful.
