Father Abraham – All My Friends Are CFOs (ft. Grant Damon & The Young Dads)
I don’t even know where to start with Father Abraham. The dude is in the middle of a year long project to produce a track every week. “All My Friends” is from week 23 and it is fresh as hell with a rocking beat and the best rapping about the meltdown I’ve heard. Easily album worthy material. Oh, did I say album? Yeah, Father Abraham has 3 of those too. His latest, I Am Not A Sailor I Am The Captain, contains the first track I heard from the guy, and total jam, “Spacemarch” (below). I knew I was hearing something fresh at the time but since hip-hop isn’t usually how I roll it just got lost in the clutter. Thank goodness “All My Friends” reared up to give a love-slap and remind me about this guy.
