MENOMENA give at least FIVE reasons to stick around a LITTLE as their new jam fills your ROOMS

Menomena – Five Little Rooms

Portland’s Menomena are known for swapping both vocals duties as well as instruments and got a lot of attention for 2007′s Friend And Foe LP which featured fractured instrumentation and and a haunting indie aesthetic that was unlike any other out there. “Wet And Rusting” (below) was that album’s highlight and is a perfect example of the schizophrenic beauty they are capable of. Well, the band is back with “Five Little Rooms” another stalking piano laced gem that has been growing on me with each listen. A perfect song to just sit back and let creep around as you drift off into the lyrics. Mines is the new album and should be out July 27th. I’m stoked.
