[CONTEST] MONA + YOUR Remix = Las Vegas + $$$$

Anyone get turned on by the Best Remixes so far list? Feelin the remix bug? Well this is your chance to turn that bug into big bucks and a shot at the Las Vegas DJ scene which is pretty much Mecca from what I hear. In their never ending effort to turn their own sexy up to 11, Las Vegas is running a contest that would have you take Mona’s TBE jam “Listen To Your Love” and put your own roof-incinerating spin on it.

Judges inclue Lil’ Jon (Whaaat!?) and DJ Vice (who I just featured recently). Grand prize is studio equipment valued at $10,000 and the opportunity to return for a performance with a resident DJ at one of Las Vegas’ hottest clubs. * Sponsored by Las Vegas and judged by a panel of international DJ superstars and industry influencers, the Vegas Spin-Off seeks the latest electronic music producer whose passion for dance music translates from the computer to the turntables.

* Beginning July 19, amateur music producers will be able upload a track of their own creation using samples of Mona’s hit summer track “Listen To Your Love.”

* Participants and fans can then check out the Visit Las Vegas Facebook page and listen to all the original tracks submitted and vote for their favorites.

* 7 finalists will win a trip to fabulous Las Vegas where they will compete in a live “spin-off” event. The live performances will be filmed and then judged by a celebrity panel.

* Las Vegas has become the hottest destination in the world for electronic music, bringing in the biggest DJs from across the globe. On any given night, there are thousands of people filling the clubs to experience the unique music and energy that Vegas has to offer. Internationally-acclaimed DJs like Tiesto, David Guetta, deadmau5, Paul Oakenfold and many more are becoming Vegas regulars, where they’re able to build their American fan base.

* The winner will receive:
- A home recording studio valued at $10,000, including Ableton Live 8, Traktor Pro, Traktor Kontrol S4, Mac Book Pro, Native Instruments Komplete, AKG C 414 Stereo Set, Apogee Duet, Avalon M5 mic preamp, Genelec 8030A (x2), Monster Cable Pro Speaker Cable (x2), Monster Cable Pro Mic Cable (x2), and an Axiom 61 USB MIDI controller.
