Why: Its been forever since we have heard from The Ting Tings and even longer since their 2008 debut, but after scrapping an albums worth of material recoded in Berlin they have emerged from their next stop in southern Spain with new songs for us. “Soul Killing” chronicles a bit of that record industry bull and sets it the best squeaky rocking chair beat I’ve ever heard. The shades of reggae work well on these two. It cuts the sugar a bit.
