FMLYBND- “Letting Go”

Sounds likeFMLYBND are continuing their launch into the stratosphere and bringing their collection of big synth dance grooves and hushed vocals. Ride it!

Location: Santa Barbara, CA

Future: Catch FMLYBND on tour this spring supporting Milky Chance!

FMLYBND – “Young Wild”

Music for… making a statement. FMLYBND came on the scene strong last year and after a huge show at our 5 Year Anniversary Party dipped under the radar for a bit. Well the BND is back with “Young Wild” and its a slower burn than previous effort but just as infectious and anthemic.

Location: Santa Barbara, CA

Future: Their new EP, aptly entitled “Back to Life” is out Oct. 7.

[MP3] FMLYBND – “Far Away”

FMLYBND - Far Away

FMLYBND finally follow up their super-jam “Electricity” with the next taste of their SoCal sound. Spacey, synthy, and surging with enough energy to spread through a night of ruckus making in the big city.

Catch them with me tomorrow night in LA at Club Nokia! They are opening for The Presets, Tanlines, and Robert DeLong! WIN TICKETS if you Tweet or Facebook this post and tag @fmlybnd @xgames and @theburningear. The person who hypes it up the most will definitely have a better chance of winning… We’ll announce the winners tomorrow…

[MP3] FMLYBND – “Electricity”

Electricity - FMLYBND

Sounding like a mix between M83 and Temper Trap and art looking like the Drive soundtrack is a damn good start to a young band’s career. Cutting out the vowels like fellow SoCal gems DWNTWN is weird but if it gets them on tour together then I’m down.
