Not much to do on a rainy day but grab some friends and work on your bowling game down at the old folks lanes. Once you’ve worn your wrists weak with spares, its time to wrangle the buzzed bunch back to the pad for some songwriting and leftovers. Thats the genesis of “Swings & Waterslides” that I’m imagining. A song about weather and emotions that feel so far away yet still live so close to the heart .Â
