So props to Joel & Scott for dropping some of their remix knowledge on us last week. Look forward to more from them as I slowly relinquish my iron grip on this site’s content and open us all up to more sweet sweet jams! ♫ Clare Maguire – The Strangest Thing (Bloodshy & Avant Version) / Bloodshy & Avant continue their time honored tradition of making sounds I love. Spooky in the best way.

♫ The Hundred In The Hands – Gigantic Tom Tom / The Hundred In The Hands serve up a different version of my favorite song of the summer. The sweetness continues, just with a less jittery vibe.

♫ Big K.R.I.T. – Hometown Hero (feat. Yelawolf) (Remix) / Not much new here aside from a verse by Yelawolf but that’s more than enough of a reason to keep getting down with this jam.

♫ Ra Ra Riot – Boy (RAC Mix) / It’s Ra Ra Riot and RAC and it’s awesome. Duh.

♫ Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes – Janglin (RAC Mix) / Edward Sharpe & Co back together with RAC and while it’s not quite the Home” remix (nothing ever will be), it is still pretty great!

♫ VV Brown – Shark In The Water (Louis La Roche Remix) / Speaking of favorite songs, here is a great remix of one of my favorites from last year!

♫ The Ting Tings – Hands (Low Sunday Remix) / You’ve had two weeks to digest The Tings Tings’ comeback single so here is a little remix dessert for ya!

♫ Crystal Castles – Vietnam (Midnight Conspiracy Remix) / Joel and Scott brought us this pairing last week on the “Crimewave” so it’s only fitting to throw this steamy horror show dance party in the pot!

♫ Arms – Heat Hot Water (Birds & Batteries remix) / Yeah for Arms! Yeah for Arms remixes!

♫ Safe – Twenty Years On (Scott Thorough Remix) / Another favorite song of the year gets a floating in haze remix treatment. Get this Safe album, people!

♫ Dragonette – Easy (Fabian Remix) / Have a little flashback to a year ago with this chilled-out poolside remix to soundtrack the last days of warmth.

♫ Active Child – When Your Love Is Safe (Classixx Remix) / Speaking of chilled-out, Classixx are doin’ it nice and sexy on this beautiful jam.

♫ Hey Champ – Neverest (Database Remix) / Hey Champ’s recent debut LP was rather disappointing but luckily there is this new remix of album highlight “Neverest” to keep us funky.

♫ Robyn – Dancing On My Own (Copycat’s Sundrenched FM Remix) / Copycat has named this remix perfectly. We lose the thumping club beat and gain a laid back sunny day take on this Robyn gem.

♫ Kanye West x Raekwon x Justin Bieber – “Runaway Love” (Remix) / So some teen lesbian is all over the charts in the States and Kanye brought some heat to one of the kid’s tween hits. The best bit of Bieber I’ve had.
