The inventive electronic trio “Back Talk” just dropped a new project where they reimagined seven of their favorite Kanye songs with their own unique spin. The podcast was a catalyst for the group to discuss how much the music and career of West had inspired their own production and creative endeavors. The discussion led to the idea of remixing a Kanye song but the idea came “Why stop at just one?”. Enter “Dragon Energy” Back Talks remix EP that spans some of Kanye’s most triumphant albums, but this is only the start, Back Talk claims to have even more completed remixes in the vault, but ran into copyright issues on the streaming services. Back Talk is the newest artist on Lights and Music Collective’s Free Pop Record Label. This NVDES Remix is a great segway to Back Talk’s personal music as it takes this low-fi electronic track and gives it more life with the addition of harder beats and harmonious drops. An electro-pop dance beat with suggestive lyrics, “Do You Think About Me” is a sure thing to play if you’re in the mood to dance away that one person that won’t seem to leave your head.
