As some of you know I’ve been working on several other projects.  Mainly, Lights & Music Entertainment; a Music Blog / Concert & Event Production Series.   Does this mean I’m done with TBE?  Nope, but most of my time will be spent building content for my own blog.  Don’t worry, my Remix & Dubstep Roundups are alive and well over there.  In fact, they are about to be better than ever.
A continuation of my feature at The Burning Ear, Remix Roundups are a collection of the freshest remixes on the planet.  You can search high and low, in this world or another, but you won’t find a remix series this dope in this galaxy or the next –  For we are from only space.

David Guetta – Titanium (Mistereric Mix) / Imagine, a world of lightly crashing waves, sunny weather and gorgeous women rolling skating to the rhythm.  Thats what this song means to me.  Its got mad vibes.  Jump in.
With craziness of SXSW nearly a week behind us, its feels good to be home… and although I pride myself on my party prowess- I think it will take weeks to fully recover from that madness.  51 shows in four days… that has to be a record for an individual party.  In the mean time (back in reality), I’m supplementing my diet with extreme amounts of caffeine and sugar.  If Im diagnosed with diabetes in a week, we’ll certainly know why.
Its only thursday, but with the combo of caffeine and the sweet tuneage below, a spontanouse dance party at work is absolutely necessary. Â Get down with your self.
Kick it.

Uplifting Progressive House that sounds like David Guetta & Sia’s “Titanium”.

Welcome back TBE vets and greetings, bonjour, buenas noches, shalom, what’s happening TBE infants. First, we’re grateful for everyone of you. Second, we have a slight change in the Remix Roundup methodology I wanted to let you know about.
Previously, we had been working from a Friday bi-weekly format that many of you have come very a accustomed to. But, as awesome as those Friday roundups were, keeping to that schedule sometimes proved to be quite difficult. Not to mention resulting in many Roundups being far too large.  I decided to clean things up.
The New Philosophy is simple… I will post a new R-R everytime I have 15 new TBE worthy remixes. There is no set schedule. Does this mean I will post less often??? No, actually its quite the contrary. If you want to stay up to date on all remix roundups, then follow me on twitter @JoelAlbers
Anyway, enough with the serious talk… Remix Roundup Vol. 51 is about to blow your head off. PUSSSHH PLAY.

♫ Dada Life – Fight Club Is Closed (Religion Remix) / This one puts a huge mischievous grin on my face. This is what I call a 4-On-The-Floor BANGER. This may just coast its way into that all important Top 50 remixes of 2011 list.

It’s a new year and a lot of good stuff piled up over the holidays. Considering it’s the 18th Digest, today is the 18th (close enough…), and I have 18 tracks, I think this is some kind of perfect Digest or something. Dig in. But really, dig. There are some real gems in the mix down there.

I am guessing that if you have been in any dance club in the past six months you have heard this song blasting at least twice. Well, somehow it had eludued me until my recent jaunt through Italy where it soundtracked my time among the maximally tanned. I guess it’s possible I’d heard it before and my distaste for Cudi filtered it from my consious mind. Either way, hearing it pumped at maximum volume and dancing along with great vacation teammates made it intsantly stuck in the memory banks. And Cudi is actually pretty great on it. Casual singing, loose rapping, and lots of instantly sing-along-able “oooh-oohh”/”hey yeah” make for instant fun. Whether a first timer or reigniting a romance, I highly reccomend you get on this track and let it pump your weekend up! The rest of the album is pretty good too if you are into that.
