Ever since Sweden’s Frida Sundemo dropped “Indigo” just over a year ago she has been dominating my 2013. The anthemic build of “A Million Years” followed 6 months ago and now we have the soft and beautiful “For You, Love”. Its a slow roll of new music but this girl has got such talent that I’m ok being patient. But lets pick up the pace in 2014, ok?

If I was a betting man I’d put some real money on Frida Sundemo. Everything from her anthemic Scandi-pop jams (see the epic “Indigo”), to her visuals, are so nicely curated that there is definitely some professional thought and energy behind what she is doing. But forget all that because the music is what really moves the machine and “A Million Years” is one of those great tracks that is both danceable and filled with real emotion. Those Swedes do not mess around.
