[LP] Handsome Furs – SOUND KAPITAL (w/ “Repatriated”)

where did the feeling go? i got it back when the plane touched down

♫ Handsome Furs – Repatriated  (previously posted)

If you didn’t already catch the two teaser tracks from Handsome Furs’ latest album then let this act as a friendly slap in the face to get your act together and cialis legal online procure Sound Kapital. “Repatriated” is one of my favorite songs of the year so far and Sound Kapital fleshes out this goodness to 9 full songs. The Furs have kicked up the canadian viagra synth grooves and are going for infectous gold on their 3rd LP. Everything is catchier and grander as they take their “electro punk experiment” to the next level. Viva la Progression!

[MP3] HANDSOME FURS know WHAT i like ABOUT getting US all pumped for an album

i’ve been living life so long i know there’s nothing wrong with this

♫ Handsome Furs – What About Us

They were just in Warsaw and I missed them like an idiot. Thank goodness they have a new album (Sound Kapital) coming out and that means a taste of goodness to tie me over. Per usual with these Canadian, it took a while for this song to convince me it was a jam but in the end it had some compelling arguments. I kinda like that about them.

♫ Handsome Furs – Repatriated

Oh damn. I just caught wind of their next leak from the album and I’ve been moved to do exactly two things. 1, get out of this chair and long term side effects of viagra do a patented TBE shimmy that involves closed eyes and flailing arms, and 2, upload this churning synth beast so we can all get pumped for Sound Kapital!

WOLF PARADE summon that GHOST of peer PRESSURE… to dance!

said your heart was a swarm of bees and they don’t and they will never leave

♫ Wolf Parade – Ghost Pressure

Wolf Parade are one of those bands that have been criminally ignored by my ears which is silly for two reasons: First, I dig Dan Boeckner’s other band Handsome Furs, and second, I am a big fan of this random track of theirs that I have, “Call It A Ritual.” (below) I’ll never know whey I never dug deeper but at least I know why I am going to start now! “Ghost Pressure,” baby! The song above is a straight jam and shakes me in all the right ways as I get pumped for Friday night! I’m imagining a werewolf dance party in an abandoned synth factory. Their new album Expo 86 is out soon and although Tsururadio has already voiced his disappointment with it I’m hoping my lack of context will leave me in a better state to rock out!

Handsome Furs are Talking (rocking?) Hotel Arbat Blues

do anything you want but just not here

Handsome Furs – Talking Hotel Arbat Blues

I had always heard of Handsome Furs but never really listened to their music until I saw they were coming to Warsaw a few months back. Their latest LP Face Control hooked me pretty quick and their live show solidified their awesomeness. I never posted anything at the time because it seemed like they were old news to everyone but me. Well just the other day “Talking Hotel Arbat Blues” came on while I was driving and I got so hyped I almost foot-stomped right through the bottom of my casr.
