Music for… people who have been depressed about Bloc Party ever since Silent Alarm but prefer to work out that sadness with tripped out house grooves and dance moves that revolve around staring at the floor.
Location: London. Really dark and sweaty clubs.
Future: New album Trick is out October 13th. Know what would be an even better trick? Re-releasing Silent Alarm on vinyl so I can stop considering paying over $100 for it.
We all know I love me some RAC. Bloc Party made one of my favorite albums of the mid-2000s. MNDR is no slouch either. Together they sound pretty damn good. I still think RAC was at his finest when he was remixing things in odd ways back in the day. His “safe” approach to production these days feels a little too close to his peers in a genre he all but created. But I’ll take this jam with a cocktail any day. I just hope he starts pioneering some new sounds soon.

What up my TBE peeps? Â Its been long overdue, I know. Â The Reason: As some of you know I’ve been working on several other projects. Â Mainly, Lights & Music Entertainment;Â a Music Blog / Concert & Event Production Series. Â Â Does this mean I’m done with TBE? Â Nope, but most of my time will be spent building content for my own blog. Â Don’t worry, my Remix & Dubstep Roundups are alive and well over there. Â In fact, they are about to be better than ever.
I truly hope you have your bowels in check for this shit, because its about to get Nurdy as all get-up.
Frankly, its not safe in here.

Because sometimes Monday is a good day for a fresh batch of remixes. And because sometimes you know Joel and Scott are right around the corner with their set of bangers and you gotta act fast. And because sometimes I just love you all and want to spread the sonic goodness.
