Ambassadors have been up to a lot since they earned one of the top remixes of 2012. They changed their name to X Ambassadors and teamed up with Keljet on this fantastic slice of slippery weekend dance funk. A modern love song for the dance floor that belongs on your summer playlist ASAP.

♫ KO KO – Float (Sound Remedy Remix) / When I first listened to this gem of a tune, I new I found my weekend remedy.  Cheers to Sound Remedy.
♫ Dragonette – Let It Go (Faustix & Imanos Remix) / It blows my mind that Dragonette isn’t one of Canada’s most popular bands.  I really think that this original song plus the remixes will move them firmly into that bracket.  This particular remix is a 4-on-the-floor dance floor thumper.  I like.

Top of the morning.
With craziness of SXSW nearly a week behind us, its feels good to be home… and although I pride myself on my party prowess- I think it will take weeks to fully recover from that madness.  51 shows in four days… that has to be a record for an individual party.  In the mean time (back in reality), I’m supplementing my diet with extreme amounts of caffeine and sugar.  If Im diagnosed with diabetes in a week, we’ll certainly know why.
Its only thursday, but with the combo of caffeine and the sweet tuneage below, a spontanouse dance party at work is absolutely necessary. Â Get down with your self.
