Noble Oak – “Morning”

Noble Oak – “Stare Into You” // Art: Route 55

“Shimmering” is the word at hand with Noble Oak’s newest track, “Stare Into You”. You can almost hear ripples in the bright synths are they undulate throughout the song, while uplifting electric guitar provides the melody above beds of piano chords. It’d be calming enough to be spa music if not for the crisp house drums that keep things active and moving.

“Stare Into You” is the newest from the Vancouver-based Noble Oak, a release hot on the heels of his full-length, Collapsing Together, which came out just a year ago. If you can’t get enough (and who could blame you?), take another listen to “All I Said” from VINYL MOON Volume 014: From The Window.

[PREMIERE] Noble Oak – “Out There” & album announce

Whether you take it in as a sunshine-drenched pop gem, a break-up anthem, or 80’s nostalgia to tide you over until the new season of Stranger Things, a new Noble Oak track is cause for celebration. That’s why we’re thrilled to premiere the producer’s latest track “Out There” and announce his upcoming sophomore album, Collapsing Together. Unabashedly tender and ballad-esque, “Out There” underpins its shimmering piano melodies with massive drums and the sexiest soprano sax this side of “Baker Street“. It risks becoming too melodramatic to take seriously, but the despondent lyrics give it a believable emotional core: “I’m not ready for love/I’m not ready for anything”. Hopefully we’ll be ready for the rest of the album, to be released August 2017.

Find the tracklist for Collapsing Together below, and revisit Noble Oak’s excellent track “All I Said” as featured on VINYL MOON Volume 014: From The Window.

[PREMIERE] Noble Oak – “Another Way” // Aaron Fernandez

“This is the culmination of a long drought of inspiration. It truly was about finding another way, emotionally and physically; it was the last gasp of a long journey ending.” – Noble Oak

Noble Oak does his name justice by providing another solid jam to hold on to in these changing times. His debut album Past Life came out earlier this year and the whole thing is beautiful and comforting. To have a new single so quickly on the heels I wouldn’t imagine he is ever struck by droughts of inspiration. However his creative process works, it s great to have the featherlight good vibes of “Another Way” to get through this week.

Be sure to check out Noble Oak’s track “All I Said” on VINYL MOON Volume 014 which came out in November.
