Karl Kling always has something groovy up his sleeve and now Bahner has put his spin on Karl’s killer jam “I Need You” from last year. It’s the perfect way to embrace these sunny June days as we head into sunscreen season. Time to stock up on both Karl Kling originals and remixes. Karl Kling – “Careful”
Sounds like… Karl Kling is aiming for a big 2015 and we can’t blame the guy. Those awesomely warm sounding synths slip and bounce under his hushed voice. The perfect soundtrack for easing yourself into the sunlight for some vitamin D.

History – “History”
Sounds like… some things that glitter are actually (definitely) gold. Ryan and Spencer from longtime TBE faves Capital Cities have collaborated on a new project and enlisted longertime TBE fave RAC to co-produce the debut single. My thumb is so far up it is starting to hurt. I’ll just let that buttery trumpet solo soothe the pain.

Music for… slo-mo daydreaming through the clouds and among the elastic creatures you find up there who are dancing and jiggling so subtly you aren’t sure if its them or the shimmer of the sunset behind you.

RAC – “Cheap Sunglasses” ft. Matthew Koma (Amtrac Remix)
Music for… living out the last days of summer in style and grace. Amtrac gives RAC’s jam a bit of a beachfront club edge with a bit more pep in its step. These are the kinds of sounds I love Amtrac for. It all brings me back to his criminally underrated debut LP Came Along Came Along and that sound he has so long left behind. Oh the good ol days.
RAC – “Cheap Sunglasses” Ft. Matthew Koma (The Knocks Remix)
Music for… people who like a bit more grit on their RAC jams. The Knocks took “Cheap Sunglasses”  from the pool to the club and the song saw some things that changed it forever.
