It is Monday. Life is a bit harder than it needs to be. Thumpers bring the positivity and Eagles For Hands mix it down into a lower impact mix that is perfect for easing me back into reality. Back to work!
New Thumpers! These guys are poised to be one of my top new bands with indie bouncers like this adding to their epic previous releases.
Marcus & John are the core of Thumpers but they bring in friends and family to help them create orchestral stadium pop jams like these. Former roommates of Klaxons and members of Pull Tiger Tail, they are most certainly not looking back on these tracks. “Dancing’s Done” spends a good minute dragging you out into the countryside before igniting the bonfire and passing out the sparklers. Then its all eyes-closed dancing and singing (and that guitar solo!) until you can’t stand. “Sound Of Screams” kicks into gear quicker and is pure infectious percussion and harmonies. Life is just better with these two tracks on repeat.
