WALLA – “101”

Music for… fellow long time fans of LA indie groover WALLA and their steady stream of pop-tinged throwback jams. “101” may be their most infection yet with an instantly singable chorus and hooks for days. Cheers to a big 2015 for these guys.

Location: Los Angeles.

Future: Take a second to vote for these guys to record their next album with RAC and Green Label Sound. Heck yeah!

WALLA – “Gangsters of Suburbia” + “Love Was On Your Mind” + LIVE TONIGHT @ The Spare Room

Music for… grown up kids who love 80s movies, their soundtracks, and dancing along with them. Walla continue to evolve and bring new grooves with every jam. I love having these guys in the LA scene.

Location: Los Angeles.

Future: LIVE tonight at The Spare Room. Bowling, Jenga, cocktails, and the sweet sounds of Walla.

WALLA – “Rising Tide” + “Nature”

Walla

Los Angeles’s WALLA just dropped the Nature EP but have been mixing up sweet jams for a while now (See the year old “Rising Tide” above”). Some seriously smooth and catchy indie rock that forgoes gimmicks in favor of tight production, big hooks, and the occasional guitar solo. Get into it now and then come out to LA for their set at Blind Date #10 with TBE faves Donora!
