I know, I know. It’s been too long. The Remix Roundups are back and I guarantee they will be more fun then ever. Here is Vol 71 for your weekend enjoyment and I already have Vol 72 coming together. Both of them are a kind of “house cleaning” of all the amazing remixes of 2013 that never got Roundup love. They will be followed by the Best Remixes of 2013 post. Thats a lot of music. Drink a lot of water and don’t forget to stretch.

Something about these handclappy beats and electric rock grooves make me want to move. It’s perfect Friday music, really. Put a little pep in your step after a draining week. Get you pumped for the weekend ahead. Los Angeles’ White Arrows has got a bit of buzz in the past (even here for his Alexander remix) but he is just landing on my radar now and I’m stoked to hear more of their jams. Ahhh the wonders of summer.  A time for great tunes, butterflies, unicorns, puppies, summer flings, confetti birthday cakes, cookies and all your favorite things.

Maybe most importantly, its for Getting Nurdy and Party Rock Shuffling your faces off.

This special time of year begs for a soundtrack.  So, I thought, what better day to post something as monumental and life altering as my summer mix, then on the most important day of the year.  MY BIRTHDAY!
