Szymon – “Medusa” + “Katyusha”

The clock is ticking for Summer adventures so it may be time to break out the old jalopy and head on a road trip. Here are two jams perfect for transporting you to new places and mind spaces. Szymon dabbles in some jangly folk on “Medusa” but keeps things running on a brisk pace. You can smell the flowers from the car window! No time to stop! When the car finally gives out on the far side of midnight in a desolate city, “Katyusha” is the instrumental tale of grit and adventure through some of its darkest streets. Where does the story end? you will have to wait for the full album Tigersapp to find out…

Pre-Order Tigersapp. Released August 21. Below are some words about Szymon.

Music was Szymon Borzestowski’s life. He loved it, lived it, breathed it. A bright, brilliant talent, the young Newcastle (Australia) artist would happily lose himself in his bedroom studio for days, playfully honing his humble yet hypnotic art-pop.

Sadly, Szymon lost his life at just 23.

Lovingly curated by family and friends,Tigersapp is the record he would have released, a glimpse into the vibrant world he hoped to share.

We are honoured for you to discover Szymon’s music and hope that you will join us in spreading the word on Szymon’s music and help celebrate his life’s work.

Our thanks and gratitude for all your support,
Eloper and the Borzestowski family xo
