After the somewhat disappointing first solo single “Hollywood” from RAC it’s great to see that they are going back to their roots for their fist proper LP release: a remix collection. Chapter One is out now and features a whole handful of RAC remix classics, as well as a few new jams like this Chromeo remix that pays perfect respect to the original’s high funk value while still adding a twist of delicate RAC flavor. But all this talk still doesn’t add up to seeing RAC live. They killed it once again on Friday night here in Los Angeles. All the best remixes on the planet getting dropped back to back with like minded people getting rowdy on the dance flor!? Epic.
