And we’re off. After far too long a break and a road trip from hell, I’m back. Not just in Washington state, but I’m here to blow those sweet little eardrums out.

It’s hard to believe its been a year since Scott and I joined Brandon and took over the remix responsibilities for TBE. Yet here we are a year later, a year wiser, 360 days more disinguished and more handsome than ever.

♫ Jason Derulo – Don’t Wanna Go Home (SmarterChild Remix) / SmarterChild gave us his amazing remix of City and Colour’s “Fragile Bird” a few weeks back under his other production name Richard Powda’.  This time he drops a floor pleaser sure to melt dance floors around the world.  Fan his Facebook.

♫ Battlekat – Into The Forest (DREAMTRAK DIAMOND SOUND Remix) / Its not often enough we get DDS mixes, but it apears to be worth the wait.  The synth build around the 2:40 mark is genius.  Raise that glass and cheers to the heavens.

♫ Theophilus London – I Stand Alone (Gigamesh Sunlight Remix) / This remix premiered at a bar I used to frequent every now and then in Austin, named The Lustre Pearl.  It was the first in a new interactive concert series called Special Engagements, where fans are able to control certain aspects of the concert.

♫ Adele – Set Fire To The Rain (Plastic Plates Remix) / Somehow this song slipped passed by me for the last few months.  Shame on me.

♫ One Republic – Good Life (Robert DWNTWN Remix) /My first thought.. “WOW”…  My last thought, a more dramatic “WOW”.  Robert DWNTWN really draws out the emotions of this song, in an almost eerie way.
