It’s raining in Brooklyn. And when it rains, it pooouuurs… remixes! Ahhhhh! A dozen of the hottest, freshest, gooeyest (sp?), finger-lickinest good remixes to hit my inbox in the past week.

Chiddy Bang – Truth (Ft. Passion Pit’s “Better Things”) / We are big Chiddy Bang fans over here at TBE but their last effort was lackluster at best and it’s awesome to see them return to mic-shredding form on this killer rework of Passion Pit.

Miike Snow – Burial (Benny Blanco remix ft. Neon Hitch) / Are on the Miike Snow train yet? Their first U.S. show is tonight in Brooklyn and I’m gonna be all up in that.

Peter Bjorn & John – It Don’t Move Me (Miike Snow remix) / I had never even heard the original when I heard this but as usual, everything Miike Snow touches turns to epic.

Passion Pit – The Reeling (Miike Snow remix) / Did I mention that Miike Snow are like the King Midas of awesome? Yeah…

Passion Pit – Moths Wings (Skinny Friedman DJ edit) / Not much is different in this “edit” but Passion Pit are basically the second coming so I figure it will get me in good with the big guy to give his bearded bro as much love as possible.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Heads Will Roll (Emre B remix) / Bass coming out the wazoo and enough club gimmicks to pull even the wallflowers (non-dancers, not the band, although maybe…) onto the dance floor. Wooo! Dance ’til you’re dead!

The Killers – Joy Ride (Night Version) / The Killers themselves decided to rework “Joy Ride” as a B-side to “The World We Live In” single. Here it is, 7 minutes of sports whistle, arena guitar, and keyboard funk.

Katy Perry – Waking Up In Vegas (Calvin Harris remix) / Calvin Harris is a talented dude, proving it right here as he turns Katy’s tune in a totally listenable jammy jam. Props.

Patrick Wolf – Hard Times (Alec Empire remix) / Alec Empire produced Patrick Wolf’s upcoming The Bachelor and now he has remixed “Hard Times.” Fresh.

Rye Rye – Bang ft. M.I.A. (Cobra Krames’ Big Horns remix) / I never posted the original because it just felt kinda blah but this remix is crazy. Horns are out of this wolf and coupled with the handclaps? What!? So fresh.

A-Ha – Take On Me (The Twelves remix) / Just found this. Yes baby, yes.

TLC – Scrubs (Yukon Ho remix) / Yukon Ho strikes again, and this time they don’t want no scrubs! Ya heard?
