Remix Party Playlist Vol. 66 – 6.20.2012 [Meiko, Bibio, DWNTWN, Tina Turner, and more…]

As some of you know I’ve been working on several other projects.  Mainly, Lights & Music Entertainment; a Music Blog / Concert & Event Production Series.   Does this mean I’m done with TBE?  Nope, but most of my time will be spent building content for my own blog.  Don’t worry, my Remix & Dubstep Roundups are alive and well over there.  In fact, they are about to be better than ever.

A continuation of my feature at The Burning Ear, Remix Roundups are a collection of the freshest remixes on the planet.  You can search high and low, in this world or another, but you won’t find a remix series this dope in this galaxy or the next –  For we are from only space.

For more jams or by any of these artists use the ‘tags’ links at the bottom of the post!  Follow @Lights3Music on Twitter for updates on remixes, dubstep and all things Nurdy.

Passion Pit – Take A Walk (Peking Duk Remix) / When it drops,… oohhh soo good.  Its head bobbing, its intoxicating and if you let it- completely mind numbing.  Pimp it.

David Guetta – Titanium (Mistereric Mix) / Imagine, a world of lightly crashing waves, sunny weather and gorgeous women rolling skating to the rhythm.  Thats what this song means to me.  Its got mad vibes.  Jump in.

Foxes – White Coats (Faustix & Imanos Remix)

Rihanna – Where Have You Been (Jr Blender Reggae Remix) / Not a Rihanna fan and frankly, I don’t get excited to see her songs in my inbox remix or not,  but this is something different.  Its fresh and sexy at the same time.

Ko Ko – Float (Polaris At Noon Remix) / Its only a matter of time before the original track blows up and I absolutely loved the Sound Remedy remix, but this mix is more than a contender.  Polaris At Noon add some danceability, yet do a fantastic job of keeping true to the original production.  Plus 1 to you.

Alex Winston – Guts (The Sound Of Arrows Remix) / Great combo.  Alex Winston’s got that voice and The Sound Of Arrows have those beats.

Goldroom – Angeles (LA News Mix)

Tina Turner – What’s Love Got To Do (Zimmer Rework)

Foster The People – Call It What You Want [Ron Flieger Remix]

Daft Punk – Da Funk [Joe Maz Remix] 6.1

Meiko – Leave The Lights On (The Crystal Method Remix) / The Crystal Method bring us something all funky and shite.  Do I like it??  Silly question, this is a funking tune!

Calvin Harris ft Ne-Yo – Let’s Go [Joe Maz Remix] v1.0

Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash – ID (Jakob Liedholm’s Set Fire Edit)

Porter Robinson – Language (TABS Bootleg Remix)

Ta-ku – Higher (Flume Remix)

Empire of the Sun – Walking On A Dream (Andrew D Bootleg) / I could have easily passed on this mix without a single listen.  Just to sit unread and lifeless in my inbox for years.  I think its pretty common knowledge that there are about 1000 versions of “Walking On A Dream”, right?  Well, apparently we needed one more thanks to Andrew D.

Lonsdale Boys Club – Light Me Up (Louis La Roche Remix)

Bibio – Lovers’ Carvings (Chateaubriand Edit)

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros – Man On Fire (Chris Carter Rework)

M83 – Reunion (Mylo Remix)

DWNTWN – See My Eyes (BeatauCue remix)

Explosions In The Sky – Your Hand In Mine (Kiely Rich Remix)

MRTN – Slow (Apparent Motion Remix)

Deadmau5 – The Veldt (Shane Martz Remix)

Auvic ft. Caroline Kim – Storm Synthesis (Generdyn Remix)
